Below is a selection of brands, organisations and productions I have created puppet and character-led content for, spanning internal communications, live entertainment, explainer content, digital events, commercials and original creative work.

Google has been the largest client in this area of work, with regular character-led videos created for digital and internal events across global teams. The work has ranged from highly polished corporate hosting content, including introducing senior company leadership, through to more playful entertainment designed to break up multi-day online events. Projects have included interactive comedy pieces, parody content built around Google Meet, and character-driven event segments created for global internal programs. Over time, the characters became a recurring part of Google’s digital events, leading to ongoing work with teams across multiple offices around the world.

One of the puppet characters, a parody Trump puppet, was booked to appear on the US late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live, reflecting the reach and versatility of the work beyond corporate and branded content.

For two years, a live weekly stage variety show was hosted at Sydney venue The Midnight Shift, now known as Universal Sydney. The show combined comedy, interviews, performances, community-focused segments and guest appearances, with the full production handled from end to end, including concept development, scripting, video content, audio elements, talent coordination and live show direction. The result was a fast-paced, highly produced live format built to feel chaotic and entertaining while still being tightly planned and executed.

The work has also included training others in puppetry for live shows, educational videos and performance-based content. Alongside creating original material, there has been the opportunity to work with established puppeteers, including Noel MacNeal, known for Bear in the Big Blue House, adding further depth to the performance and production experience behind the work.

Alongside client work, original puppet content has also been developed for online audiences, including music videos, comedy pieces and multi-layered green screen productions. This side of the work has allowed for experimentation with character development, performance, editing, music, humour and visual effects, while continuing to build original content that is entertaining, distinctive and highly shareable.

Description

Character-led content works because it gives audiences something they remember. Across the past several years, more than 6,000+ videos have been created for corporations, businesses and personalised commissions worldwide, combining puppetry with scriptwriting, marketing, social media thinking, entertainment and video production. The result is content that does more than simply present a message, it creates personality, builds recognition and helps ideas land in a way that standard content often cannot.
