In federal politics, social media strategy has centred on building audience growth, increasing engagement and creating more human, relatable content across multiple platforms. The work has combined daily content creation, video, campaign messaging, community-focused storytelling and platform strategy to strengthen the Member’s digital presence and create content that connects more directly with audiences.

For 2SSR, a more structured and locally focused social media strategy was introduced, built around daily program schedule posts, local news updates and listen-back content promoting interviews, talk-based programs and community-interest segments. By creating more consistent, useful and locally relevant content, the station saw a strong lift in Facebook reach within the community, along with growth in page likes and follows.

At DNA Magazine, social media strategy focused on growing audience engagement through a stronger understanding of platform trends, daily digital content and consistent community-focused publishing. Working closely with and managing more than 1,000 contributors, the strategy helped generate a steady stream of content that not only increased Facebook likes and interaction, but also drove audiences back to the website through article-led social posts and shareable editorial content.

At The Institute of Applied Psychology, a more targeted and creative social media strategy was introduced to strengthen lead generation and improve attendance at course information sessions. By aligning content more closely with audience interests and marketing goals, social media became a more effective tool for both engagement and conversion.

Description

No two brands need the same social media strategy. What works for a publication, a radio station, an education provider or a political office will always be different. The work shown here reflects an ability to step into different organisations, understand what suits the brand and audience, and build a social media approach that feels appropriate, effective and built for growth.
